Wave Goodbye*

Tommorow is my last Nine Inch Nails concert. I've made a conscious, calculated and a determined decision to wrap up my Nine collection after tomorrow and stash it away in the basement for my kids. I've listened to every one of their 562 songs including a rare remix from Nicaragua. Actually, it's 563 if I include one of my own remixes I uploaded to nin.com. It took me a week to make a remix of Lights In The Sky. It took me two months to figure out how the remixing software worked. Nonetheless, by some random stroke of luck, my remix was approved by Trent Reznor and it's available on the website under my blogger username, if you have a NIИ account and if you're interested of course.

Also, I'm going to meet him and probably try to have a chat with him if I don't get nervous. I'm also going to try and tell him not to stop with NIИ (He's moving back to his old project Tapeworm after this tour) but I'm sure there are a million people who have already told him so.

But as far as I'm concerned, this is it for me. I've heard their songs every single day of my life for the past year to date. Not that I get a million hits for it to make a difference.

I might sneak in another story with pictures from the concert tomorrow. We shall see.

I.am.officially.bored.of.all.their.songs.

*The name they are currently touring with.

What could "Every single day of my life for past one year" lead to but "I.am.officially.bored.of.all.their.songs."!!

Do I really take that literally? Really?

I got off the wagon after the concert. Now, I'm more addicted to them.

I doubt you are. You won't be. Last month I thought I was. I switched to other bands. Two days later I had missed Discipline, Right Where It Belongs among others that I haven't moved out of the new phase yet.

Hmph.
